-5 years from the day of collection (however, different retention periods apply to information required for financial incident investigation, dispute resolution, complaint processing, and statutory obligations such as the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act (10 years)).

-All respondents have a right to refuse the collection and use of the above information, in which case registration and participation in the event may be restricted.
